virtual Appointments - Virtual appointments are currently available at the discretion of Dr. Furuta’s clinical judgement and individual conditions of each patient. Most new patients are seen for their first visit in person. The location for follow-up visits will be determined on an ongoing basis as indicated. Patients need to have access to a secure, private space, reside within the state of California, and have stable internet access, technological equipment and skills to complete a Zoom call with clear audio and video, and be able to purchase and utilize basic home equipment for self-monitoring (such as a blood pressure cuff and scale) if needed.

Dr. Furuta’s Office - Clean, comfortable, and contemporary, the office is wheelchair-accessible with ample parking and conveniently located in the Skypark Complex in Torrance – home to an interwoven path of serene streams, waterfalls, and a tranquil pond.  A lab and pharmacy are all within walking distance in Skypark.

Home Visits - In some circumstances, when physical or psychological symptoms interfere with the ability to come to outpatient treatment at the office or participate in a virtual visit, home visits can be very effective.  Travel fees apply.
